Message from Region 6 Food ServiceDear Region 6 Community,

Please click here for RSD6 Parent Letter about Meals ,  information about  SNAP  & HuskyB

Food Service needs your help! Through the end of this school year, Region 6 Schools will be providing all students one breakfast and lunch free of charge.
This is federally funded through the USDA. However, we only receive the income when your child eats! We need to increase student participation.

Otherwise, we won’t be able to cover our costs. Will you help? Encourage your child to eat at school!

Here are some reasons why we encourage your child(ren) to participate:

  • Spend less on your food budget
  • Reduce meal prep time
  • School meals are familiar and comforting to kids
  • Help the Food Service Department make ends meet
  • Keep cafeteria staff employed
  • Meals are prepared following health department and CDC guidelines
  • The best part – each meal provides whole grains, fruits, vegetables, protein, and milk and is packed with heathy nutrients!

REMOTE MEALS: Are your children learning remotely? Join us for the Remote Meal Pick up! Breakfast & Lunch meals for 5 days are available each Monday at Wamogo from

1:00 – 1:30 PM. Pre-order meals by emailing by Thursday at noon.  On your email include your Child’s name & School.
